Warning: If you are one of our friends of a family member: please do not read this post as your Christmas present is most likely featured!
First of all, let me apologise for mentioning Christmas this early, but it seems that with difficult financial times, people start planning earlier and earlier these days. I have not bought a single Christmas present yet, but I have done quite a bit of research and I will be getting all the gifts mentioned below.
Christmas can end up costing you a fortune, and I might sound slightly old-fashioned when I say that, but to me, the festive season is all about family and being together, not spending hundreds of pounds on unnecessary rubbish.
There, I said it. I like making some of the presents myself, and our children get gifts from all family members so generally, they get pyjamas or something practical from us. I have 4 children, 3 brothers, nephews and nieces, lots of friends and we simply cannot afford to spend more than £20 per present.
I have teamed up with Give as you Live, a shopping website with a difference. It gives you the opportunity to shop with over 4,000 of the biggest retailers (including Amazon, eBay and many more) all in one place, and a percentage of what you buy is donated to charity, without you having to do anything or spend more! As you shop through Give as you Live, you can choose the charity, or they will donate it to their charity of the month.
Without further ado, here are my three little lists:
What do you have on your Christmas shopping list?
