‘Free From’ Easter Treats and #FreeFromFridays

Oh my goodness, how can it nearly be Easter already? Time just flies. Have you sorted your ‘Free From’ Easter treats for your little ones yet? One of my little ones is getting face paints, another caterpillars and the other two a water bottle each. We’re also getting a little bit of chocolate, but nothing over-the-top.

Thanks to everyone who has been taking part in ‘Free From’ Fridays every week, and to new faces too. I love our little community! Make sure you read and share as many of the posts linked as you can, as it is all about spreading the ‘free from’ love!

The first post I read last week was Emma’s and it was my favourite. When you think about Easter treats, what springs to mind? I would be surprised if “chocolate” didn’t pop into your head straight away. Chocolate is a nice treat, there is no denying that, and there are also more and more ‘free from’ alternatives around for those with food allergies, but I loved Emma’s thinking about keeping her little ones safe. Check her post. She has compiled a list of 35 non-food Easter treats.

This gluten-free banana bread by Kirsty at ‘Hijacked by Twins’ (wheat-free, rice-free and free from refined sugar) is the best Kirsty has ever baked and it looks like what I need right now! Oh, and it’s guilt-free too!

Need an Easter treat suitable for Gluten-free, nut-free vegans? These biscuits are easy enough for toddlers to make, so look no further!

Just to finish on a naughty (but nice!) note, check these gluten-free Mini Egg brownies by Eb at ‘Easy Peasy Foodie.’ Eb’s quick and easy recipe will give you fudge-like, chewy brownies with the added crunch of Mini Eggs.

Those biscuits look so lovely! We use a very similar recipe but minus the chia seed! Love making simple bakes xx

Thanks lovely! Chia seeds are my favourite thing in the whole wide world 🙂 Until I discovered them, I didn’t really have that egg replacement down…

I’ve just linked up my lamb fajitas, they’re free from dairy, eggs and nuts and can easily be made gluten-free by switching the tortillas for a GF alternative. I love your cute little Easter biscuits, the trouble is they’re too pretty to eat <3

Thanks for linking sweetie! The biscuits were yummy (no icing for me so I didn’t feel bad about eating the pretty ones!). xx
