Pyrex have a new Bakeware Range!

If you have read my blog before, you probably know that I am a big fan of Pyrex. Until now, all I had tried was their glassware. Every single Pyrex item I own gets used all the time, whether it be prep bowls, measuring jars or dishes that go from freezer to microwave to oven.

On a rainy Friday morning, I had planned to bake ‘free from’ muffins and try a cake recipe a friend had given me when there was a knock at the door. It was a Pyrex delivery. Perfect timing!

I was sent two 20cm cake pans, a 26cm cake pan, a 27cm flan pan, a 12 cup muffin tray and a baking tray from their new bakeware range, Asimetria.

Pyrex - Asimetria

I was eager to test these non-stick essentials and I have been using at least one daily for the past couple of months. I have not been disappointed.

I made ‘free from’ lemon muffins,

Pyrex Asimetria - 12 cup muffin tray

and mince pies in the muffin pan.

The item I have been using the most is the tray, in which I have roasted red cabbage,

Pyrex Asimetria - baking tray - cabbage

made croutons to go with onion soup,

Pyrex Asimetria - baking tray - croutons

and baked biscuits.

I love quiche and the flan dish was perfect for that.

In the cake pans, I made ‘free from’ carrot cake

Pyrex Asimetria - 20cm cake pan

and a Victoria sponge cake.

The large handle on each item in the range makes it easy to take your baked goodies out of the oven and they take very little space.

You could win the same bundle as the one I was sent.

  1. I’m a bit of a Pyrex lover too, I even got a new glass Pyrex jug for Christmas which was used pretty much immediately, they’re so useful. I love the look of this new bakeware range, there’s some really thoughtful little details on it, like the handles and the ease of storage (an ever increasing problem in my kitchen!).

It’s nearly 1am so I should probably be off to sleep now, but I’ll be back in the morning to rafflecopter away for a while and get all my entries. Fingers crossed.
