Merci Maman – Personalised Gifts at their Best!
Do you always remember what presents you have received and who gave them to you? Most of the time, it is all a blur for me if I’m honest. I vaguely remember getting perfume or nice hand cream and maybe a pretty bowl or two for a birthday or another. What I remember most though, are those special presents that were given to me as memorable milestones, like the hand-knitted booties Violaine made when I gave birth to Crevette, the slices of banana loaf and recipe Aimee produced one day after I told her I’d never had banana cake, the pack of M&Ms Loraine gave me on my worst day ever as a teacher or the voucher for an amazing cooking course my bestie and husband got me for my 30th birthday.
Personalised Layering Necklace Set by Merci Maman
Gifts I remember most are not the most expensive, the trendiest or the coolest ones. The best presents are the meaningful ones, the ‘special’ ones. I discovered Merci Maman and their gorgeous personalised gifts a few years ago. For my birthday this year, they offered to send me a bespoke piece of jewellery. I put my children in charge and they were involved every step of the way. They chose the stunning Personalised Layering Necklace Set with Gemstone. 
They decided which stone they wanted to add as well as what to engrave on the necklace. They also wrote a card for me and that is without the shadow of a doubt the nicest gift I have ever received from my children, because all four of them took part in the decision-making. They all love it and refer to it as my ‘special necklace.’ I will treasure this gift for many years to come!
When I opened my birthday present, I was really impressed by its quality. It is a beautifully crafted sterling silver set of layered necklaces with an impeccable finish, a semi-precious gemstone and beautifully hand-engraved message. The two necklaces complement each other beautifully, but they can also be worn separately. That makes the set pretty versatile. I have worn the necklaces with a smart dress and also with my most casual jeans and Tee.

I was so impressed with my present that I ordered a gold-plated bracelet for my sister-in-law’s birthday, with her children’s initials engraved on it.
When we received it, I loved it so much that I wanted a similar one, so I bought it as a present to myself after a pretty rubbish Mother’s Day. It took minutes to choose it and order it with my children’s initials on the back of the hammered disk.

Merci Maman was born in 2007. French mum Béatrice de Montille started the business from her kitchen table. Enjoyed your very relax video. I couldn’t do without my pc to keep in touch with my friends and family, but realise how quickly they need updating. Definitely wipes, how did we manage without wipes!! Comfy shoes are a must, my days of high heels have long passed and if my feet are comfy I can get through the day. Foundation, if I don’t have time for anything else I need my foundation with a sunscreen to make me look human (just). The support of my Slimming World club that has helped me lose weight over the last year, made great friends and kept me on plan. Last but not least my pets, and animals in general, make me smile and feel happy and enrich my life.
