Petit Fernand Personalised Labels Review, Discount & Giveaway

Kids' Corner

I have been looking at Petit Fernand personalised labels for ages. They look so pretty and I had planned to order some once I’d run out of the plain ‘KNIBB” labels my mum bought for my four last year. They were functional (stuck to everything, from shoes to clothes to water bottles to pens), but plain, with our surname in black capital letters over a white background. I wanted pretty labels!

When the lovely people at Petit Fernand contacted me with an offer to try a few of their products, I couldn’t say no. For the first time ever, my children would get labels that were out of the ordinary. Little did I know everything Petit Fernand had to offer. I knew about their labels but I’d not heard about their personalised lunchboxes or water bottles.

The first thing I put in my basket was a value pack of Petit Fernand personalised labels, which contains 140 name labels. Within the pack, which comes in a handy little booklet (no more stray sheets of stickers!), you can personalise the background, font, colours and illustrations. The pack can also include a range of designs and names at no extra cost, so I personalised labels for each one of my children and ordered extra stick-on clothes labels.

I remember my nan laboriously sewing my name labels on every item of clothing when I went on my first school trip to Les Carroz d’Arraches some 25 years ago! Time has moved on… I certainly went ‘sticker happy’ when I was helping Crevette pack for his very first residential trip with school. Every single pencil, T-shirt and torch was labelled.

I absolutely loved designing labels for my 4 children, and I made sure they matched their personalities. My little man would have a skull and crossbones, Beanie would get pretty leaves and a cactus plant, Jumpy, whose reception class is ‘Owls’ in September would get a cute owl over a yellow chevron background and I went for a kawai cloud over a rainbow background for Wriggly. I love, love, love those labels.

The stickers take seconds to apply to garment. They are wash and tumble dryer resistant. We have had ours for about a month, and not one has come off. Impressed!

I also went for a personalised a lunchbox. Initially, I was going to make it all for just one of the children (pick you favourite child and all that… erm, maybe not!), but then decided to go for Petit KNIBB qui a faim! (Hungry Little KNIBB) rather than a first name & surname combination. I also made it kind of gender-neutral so that all four of them could use it at some point. They love it! and Wriggly had it yesterday for her last lunchbox of the year.

I was impressed by the level of personalisation the site allowed. I could choose the main image, the colour of the lunchbox, the text and even go for my favourite font amongst 11. Although £28 can seem a high price for a lunchbox, its design is quite unique and it includes a main container, 2 removable containers, an ice pack, a bento layer and a lid.

I also went for a water bottle, which is really cute and matches the lunchbox. It is also £28, which is rather pricey for a water bottle. but It’s made from high-quality stainless steel (no odour or taste!), and it’s a double-walled thermo bottle with anti-leak cap. It is also 100% recyclable. I have to say that so far, I’ve been pretty impressed with it (we do go through a lot of water bottles at home and after a while, plastic bottles always smell).

Would I buy Petit Fernand personalised labels again? Yes, I’ve just ordered some more actually! Delivery is free and orders are dispatched within 48 hours of ordering.

Fancy a discount?

Its very hard for me to pick one as I have four children and I can’t just see one design because I see one for each so my dinosaur loving autistic son it would be the T-Rex, my space loving son it would be the space design, for my daughter it would be the leaves and cactus – so pretty and for my eldest it would be the skull and crossbones.
