Snapshots & Scenes from November 2018

Fun with the Little Ones, Kids' Corner

Every month, I put together a Snapshots and Scenes video and blog post about the previous month and it’s my favourite thing to do. It all started a year or so ago when I first filmed little snippets of our daily lives. I’d never really done that before. I had tried to capture the milestones, the ‘big’ moments like the first steps, the first bike ride without stabilisers, bits of Christmas concerts and daring first attempts on the zip wire at the park. What I wasn’t recording was the everyday stuff, the ‘little things’ that made me feel so happy.

Our November was all about…

  • Celebrating my bestie’s 40th
  • A slime bath
  • 4 in a school photo
  • Art club
  • The Crimes of Grindelwald at the cinema with my little man
  • A photo walk in Shoreditch with Three
  • A visit to the Harry Potter studios
  • A sleepover at my friend Reneé’s house
  • Winter Wonderland
  • Rock up
  • Crafts at home
  • Playgroup photography
  • Lots of curries and a Hello Fresh box
  • Soft play
  • The children finding out they’d be getting a Smiggle advent calendar

This is such a lovely idea – since going back to work full-time I’ve noticed how much I’m lacking pictures like I used to and it’s definitely something I need to try harder at!

I’ve started taking more on my phone too. I’ve just got to remember to save them with the others 🙂

You’ve taken some brilliant pics. I need to make my youngest a slime bath. He’d LOVE it 🙂

They absolutely loved their slime bath but it took 3 showers to completely take everything off their hair 🙂

Ah your pictures and video are so lovely, I always forget to capture the little moments on video and I am regretting it so much as I love creating videos.
