Check out our recipe for the blender pancakes we make all the time. It's the quickest way to make pancakes, yet it works just as well as the traditional method, with 5 ingredients only. Just make sure you place the wet ingredients in the blender first, then the wet ones.

5-ingredient Blender Pancakes

Makes enough for 4 adults (main and dessert)

  • 1 l milk
  • 4 free range organic eggs
  • pinch salt
  • 4 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 320 g plain flour


  1. Place all wet ingredients in the blender, then add in the dry ingredients.
  2. Blend until smooth (approximately 20 seconds).
  3. Warm a pan over a medium heat. Grease with a drop of sunflower oil (spread with kitchen paper to absorb excess oil).
  4. Using a ladle, pour enough of the liquid to thinly coat the pan. Rotate the pan to distribute the batter evenly.
  5. Cook for a couple of minutes, until bubbles have formed on the surface and it is dry underneath. It should be easy to turn over with a wooden spatula or flip.
  6. Cook the other side for another minute. Add your filling now or pile up your crêpes on a plate for later.
  7. Repeat until you have used all the batter. Do not forget to grease the pan when needed using your oiled kitchen paper.
